Aureus Investment Pvt Ltd, a promoter of Sona BLW Precision, recently completed a significant transaction in the open market, selling a 3.2% stake in the company for a total of Rs 957 crore.
The details of the deal were revealed through bulk deal data obtained from the NSE. Aureus Investment successfully sold 1.90 crore shares, which accounted for a 3.2% stake in Sona BLW Precision.
The shares were sold at an average price of Rs 503.73 each, resulting in a transaction value of Rs 957 crore.
Following this latest transaction, Aureus Investment now holds a reduced shareholding of 29.8% in the company, down from the previous 33% stake as of March 2023.

In addition to Aureus Investment, BNP Paribas Arbitrage also participated in the open market, selling over 99.91 lakh shares of Sona BLW Precision. The shares were sold at an average price of Rs 541.61 per piece, resulting in a deal value of Rs 541 crore, as reported by NSE data.
Notably, the Singapore government, Societe Generale, and BNP Paribas Arbitrage collectively acquired over 1.21 crore shares of Sona BLW Precision.
