Bharat Petroleum wins 8 awards at the 44th PRSI National Awards 2022

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), a ‘Maharatna’ and Fortune Global 500 company, received eight awards at the 44th PRSI All India Public Relations Conference in Bhopal. The energy giant was recognized for its branding activities, public relations initiatives, and R&D activities.

Shri Pranab Rakshit, Chief Manager of R&D, Dr. Pravin Kuhikar, Senior Manager of Information Services, and Mr. Aniruddha Kulkarni, Manager of R&D, received the awards on behalf of Bharat Petroleum.

The company’s corporate PR and brand efforts were recognized in the categories of ‘Best Use of Social Media in Corporate Campaign’, ‘Public Relations in Action’, ‘House Journal (English)’, ‘Annual Report’, ‘Best Communication Campaign (Internal Publics) for Brand Quiz Baadshah’, and ‘Best Employee Communication Program for Radio Tarang’.

BPCL’s Corporate Research & Development Centre also received awards in two categories: ‘Best Initiative for Promoting Science and Technology – K Model®’ and ‘Best R & D Efforts for Promoting Science and Technology – Bharat Hi-Star Stove’.

The Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) is a national association of PR professionals founded in 1958 with the goal of promoting the recognition of public relations as a profession and explaining to the public the objectives and potential of public relations as a strategic management function.

Shares of Bharat Petroleum Corporation were trading on the BSE at INR 337.25, compared to the previous close of INR 333.60. The total number of shares traded during the day was 258,828, with over 3,493 trades.

The stock reached an intraday high of INR 337.90 and an intraday low of INR 331.30. The net turnover for the day was INR 86,847,538.
