The RPG Group’s KEC International Ltd., a well-known international infrastructure EPC firm, has announced the acquisition of new orders totaling Rs. 1,373 crores across a variety of its businesses.
KEC International obtained orders in India’s Railways industry for both conventional/emerging and technologically advanced segments. These orders consist of:
- Orders for Signalling and Telecommunication in connection with the Automatic Block Signalling (ABS) system’s deployment.
- Orders for 2 x 25 kV Overhead Electrification (OHE) and related works for semi-high-speed rail that will increase train speeds.
KEC International obtained orders in India’s residential and commercial building sectors for its civil operations.
Both in India and the Americas, the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) division received orders for T&D projects. These purchases include:
- An order to build a 400 kV transmission line in India is known as the 400 kV Transmission Line Order.
- Orders for tower supply have been placed in both India and the United States.
- Achievement of the Subsidiary: SAE Towers, a KEC International subsidiary, obtained orders for poles, hardware, and tower supplies across the Americas.
Additionally, domestic and foreign customers placed orders with the Cables company for a variety of cables.

Mr Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO of KEC International Ltd., expressed his happiness with the new order wins by saying, “We are thrilled with the recent order wins across our business verticals, particularly in the Railways sector. In response to the government’s emphasis on increasing the Indian Railway network’s capacity, speed, and safety, we have entered the rapidly developing Automatic Block Signalling (ABS) market in order to increase line capacity through automation. As seen by the orders obtained, our Civil business continues to enjoy substantial development. The repeat order for T&D from an established private developer confirms the growth of our India T&D business. Additionally, we have noticed a positive rise in requests for tower supplies, notably in North America.
