Larsen and Toubro Secures Major EPC Contracts for Commercial Tower Construction in Mumbai
In a recent announcement, Larsen and Toubro (L&T) revealed that its subsidiary, L&T Construction’s buildings and factories (B&F) business, has successfully secured noteworthy engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts within the Indian market. These contracts were awarded by a reputable developer for the construction of commercial towers at two prominent locations in Mumbai.
The scope of the project entails the construction of four-level basements and two towers, one consisting of 70 floors and the other with 50 floors, to be completed within a timeframe of 40 months. Additionally, the second location will witness the construction of four-level basements and two towers, each comprising 19 floors, with an estimated completion duration of 35 months.
L&T further disclosed that these contracts fall within the significant order range of Rs 1,000 crore to Rs 2,500 crore.
