Bharti Airtel Launches Cutting-Edge 5G Services in North-East India
Bharti Airtel, India’s leading telecommunications services provider, has announced the launch of its advanced 5G services in several North-East cities, including Kohima, Dimapur, Aizawl, Gangtok, Silchar, Dibrugarh, and Tinsukia. Airtel 5G Plus is already live in Guwahati, Shillong, Imphal, Agartala, and Itanagar, with plans for further expansion in the near future.
The rollout of Airtel 5G Plus will be implemented in stages, with customers who have 5G enabled devices being able to enjoy the high-speed network at no additional cost until the network becomes more widely available. Airtel plans to expand its network to all cities in the region as it continues to build and upgrade its infrastructure.

With this, we have successfully powered the entire North-East region of India.”
The Airtel 5G Plus services will offer high-speed access to high-definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant photo uploading, and more. The launch of 5G in India will be a significant boost to economic growth, revolutionizing education, healthcare, manufacturing, agriculture, mobility, and logistics.
