In a significant financial move, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), the renowned state-owned engineering company, has disbursed a substantial final dividend of Rs 88 crore to the Government of India for the fiscal year 2022-23.
This noteworthy transaction was marked by the official presentation of a dividend cheque, symbolizing the equity’s final dividend (63.17 percent) owned by the Government of India. The presentation was carried out by BHEL’s Chairman and Managing Director, Nalin Shinghal, and was graciously received by Union Minister of Heavy Industries, Mahendra Nath Pandey, as officially disclosed in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The aggregate dividend payout to the valued shareholders of BHEL for the financial year 2022-23 now stands impressively at over Rs 139 crore.
