Bridgestone & Tata Power Partnership for Deploy 4-Wheeler EV Charging Stations

In a major step towards bolstering India’s electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure, Bridgestone India has announced a strategic partnership with Tata Power to deploy EV charging stations at its dealerships nationwide.

Under this groundbreaking collaboration, Tata Power will deploy cutting-edge 25/30 kWh capacity DC fast chargers, capable of recharging a four-wheeler in just one hour. This means up to 20-24 vehicles can be seamlessly charged in a single day. What’s more, these chargers will operate 24/7, ensuring round-the-clock accessibility for EV owners.

Rajarshi Moitra, Chief Commercial Officer at Bridgestone India, expressed the company’s commitment to enhancing mobility solutions, stating, “At Bridgestone, as a globally trusted partner in the mobility sector, we continually strive to provide solutions for every journey. Our partnership with Tata Power reflects this unwavering commitment.”

These newly installed chargers will be open not only to Bridgestone customers but to all electric vehicle owners, promoting EV adoption across the nation.

Virendra Goyal, Head of Business Development for EV Charging at Tata Power, highlighted the significance of this partnership, saying, “Our collaboration with Bridgestone India underscores our dedication to advancing the electric vehicle revolution through innovation and cooperation.”

Tata Power will go the extra mile by offering installation services, charging assistance, maintenance support, remote vehicle charging monitoring, and e-payments through the convenient EZ Charge mobile application. Additionally, their EV Charging mobile app will assist users in locating nearby charging stations, receiving real-time charging updates, and facilitating online payments.
