Dilip Buildcon Signs Project Deal in Rajasthan

Bhopal-based construction and infrastructure development powerhouse, Dilip Buildcon, has announced a significant milestone by signing a substantial project deal worth Rs 396.93 crore with The Water Resources Zone in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The agreement was officially disclosed via an exchange filing.

This exciting venture marks Dilip Buildcon’s latest achievement, as they have received the coveted Letter of Acceptance (LOA) and have inked the agreement for the construction of two dams in Rajasthan. The project boasts a challenging but achievable 44-month timeline for completion and was formally announced on October 9th.

According to the exchange filing, Dilip Buildcon’s responsibilities encompass the comprehensive “planning, design, and construction of Dewas III and IV Dams in Tehsil-Gogunda, Udaipur District, Rajasthan.” This endeavor will be executed on an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) single responsibility turn-key basis. Additionally, Dilip Buildcon will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of these dams for a decade.

This development follows closely on the heels of another significant achievement for Dilip Buildcon. Just last month, their joint venture with Patel Engineering Ltd secured an LOA for a substantial project valued at Rs 1,275.30 crore in Ujjain. This endeavor encompasses the entire spectrum of engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, trial run, and a decade-long operation and maintenance responsibility for the Narmada Gambhir Multi Village Drinking Water Supply Scheme.

Furthermore, in September, another joint venture between Dilip Buildcon and Vijay Kumar Mishra Construction successfully executed an agreement with the Water Resources Department in Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal (MP). This contract was focused on the construction of the Malhargarh Pressurized Micro Lift Major Irrigation Project. The scope includes preparing construction drawings and designs, obtaining approvals from relevant authorities, and executing all civil, mechanical, and electrical works necessary for the project. This ambitious project comes at a cost of Rs 699.03 crore and is expected to be completed within 36 months.
