Established in 1989, GPT Healthcare Limited runs a network of medium-sized, comprehensive hospitals in Eastern India under the ILS Hospitals brand, focusing on secondary and tertiary healthcare services.

Situated in Kolkata, West Bengal, the company provides a wide array of healthcare services across 35 specialties and super-specialties. These include internal medicine, diabetology, nephrology (including kidney transplant), laparoscopic and general surgery, gynaecology and obstetrics, intensive care, gastroenterology, orthopaedics and joint replacement, interventional cardiology, neurology, neurosurgery, paediatrics, and neonatology. Additionally, the company offers integrated diagnostic services and pharmacies.

GPT Healthcare operates hospitals in four cities:

1. Salt Lake, Kolkata (West Bengal) – 85 beds, including 17 beds in various ICUs and HDUs (as of June 30, 2023)
2. Agartala (Tripura) – 205 beds (as of June 30, 2023), including 66 beds in various ICUs and HDUs

As of June 30, 2023, the company manages four multidisciplinary hospitals with a total capacity of 561 beds, offering a comprehensive range of healthcare services in over 35 specialties.

On the same date, GPT Healthcare had a workforce of 1,855 employees, including 85 full-time consultants and 465 visiting consultants.
