HDFC Bank Q2FY24 Results: Standalone PAT Rises to Rs 15,976.11 Cr

HDFC Bank Q2FY24 Results Today

HDFC Bank Bank Q2 results show revenue rise from 57,816.67 to 78,406.23 crores, a 35.61% increase in growth. EPS also rose from Rs.21.40 to Rs.21.13, up by 1.26%.

Financial Results Q2FY2024 Quarter-on-Quarter Basis:

HDFC Bank shared its Q2 results on Monday. They earned 78,406.23 crores in revenue this quarter, but that’s more than the 57,816.67 crores they made last quarter. The bank’s growth increased by 35.61 percent when comparing the two quarters.

In terms of profits, HDFC Bank’s PAT (Profit After Tax) for this quarter was 15,976.11 crores, up from 11,951.77 crores in the previous quarter. Their quarter-to-quarter growth inclined by 33.67 percent.

The Bank’s EPS (Earnings Per Share) this quarter is Rs.21.13, which is an increase of 1.26% from the Rs.21.40 EPS in the previous quarter.

In addition, the Bank’s net NPA (Non-Performing Assets) decreased to 0.35% this quarter from 0.30% in the previous quarter, resulting in a 05 basis point decrease in the bank’s net NPA.

Financial Results Q2FY2024 Year-over-Year Basis:

The bank made a total revenue of 78,406.23 crores this year (2023), which is 69.78 percent higher than last year’s total revenue of 46,181.96 crores.

This Year’s PAT (Profit After Tax) is 15,976.11 crores, which is also 50.64% higher than last year’s PAT of 10,605.78 crores.

The EPS (Earnings Per Share) for this year is Rs.21.13, which is 10.80% more than the EPS of Rs.19.07 earned last year.

The bank’s gross NPA (Non-Performing Assets) dropped to 1.34% this year from 1.23% in the previous year, resulting in a decrease of 11 basis points in the bank’s gross NPA.

In addition, the bank’s net NPA (Non-Performing Assets) decreased to 0.35% this year from 0.33% in the previous year, resulting in a 20 basis point decrease in the bank’s net NPA.

The CAR (capital adequacy ratio) of the bank increased to 19.54 percent this year from 16.92 percent in the previous year.

The ROA (return on assets) of the bank increased to 0.50 percent in this quarter from 0.51 percent in the previous year.
