Honda Cars India: Domestic sales surge 13% to 9,861 units in September

Honda Cars India Ltd has announced a remarkable 13 percent year-on-year increase in domestic sales, with 9,861 units sold in September 2023.

The introduction of their newly launched mid-size SUV, Elevate, has been met with an overwhelmingly positive response from consumers. Deliveries of this exciting model commenced just last month, as confirmed by Honda Cars India in an official statement.

According to Yuichi Murata, Director of Marketing and Sales at Honda Cars India Ltd, “The new SUV has quickly risen to prominence, playing a pivotal role in boosting our sales during this festive season.”

He went on to express optimism, stating, “The automotive industry is currently witnessing robust demand at the onset of the festive season. With an extended festive period this year, we anticipate this upward trend to persist, which is indeed encouraging news for us.”

In addition to the domestic sales surge, Honda Cars India also shared that their exports for the previous month reached a respectable 1,310 units.
