The partnership envisions the deployment of 300 cutting-edge zero-emission energy systems, aimed at optimizing diesel consumption across Indus Towers’ extensive network of telecom tower sites.

This strategic move not only underscores Indus Towers’ unwavering commitment to sustainability but also positions them as trailblazers in the telecommunications industry’s eco-conscious evolution.

The official press release from Indus Towers Limited and IOC Phinergy Private Limited (IOP) heralded the partnership as a monumental step towards a greener and more sustainable telecom infrastructure. The heart of this collaboration lies in the deployment of 300 zero-emission energy systems, leveraging cutting-edge aluminium-air technology, to revolutionize energy consumption at Indus Towers’ telecom tower sites.

Prachur Sah, CEO of Indus Towers, emphasized the company’s commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. IOP, a joint venture company established by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) and Phinergy Ltd of Israel, specializes in manufacturing, selling, and servicing aluminium-air systems powered by Phinergy’s groundbreaking technology within the Indian market. This alliance positions IOP as a key player in advancing clean energy solutions in India.
