Innova Captab Limited, a pharmaceutical company, started its journey in January 2005. The company operates in three main areas. First, it helps Indian pharmaceutical companies with contract development and manufacturing. Second, it has a local business that sells branded generics. Third, it engages in international business, distributing branded generics globally.
The company’s product range includes tablets, capsules, dry syrups, dry powder injections, ointments, and liquid medicines.
In the fiscal year 2023 and the three months up to June 30, 2023, the company successfully produced and sold over 600 different types of generics. These products were sold under the company’s own brands in India through a network of about 5,000 distributors and stockists, reaching over 150,000 retail pharmacies. Innova Captab also exported its branded generic products to 20 and 16 countries in FY2023 and the three months ending June 30, 2023, respectively.
As of October 31, 2023, the company employed a team of 29 scientists and engineers in its research and development laboratory, located in Buddi, Haryana.
The company’s clientele includes well-known names such as Cipla, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, Wockhardt, Corona Remedies, Emcure Pharmaceuticals, Lupin, Medley Pharmaceuticals, Eris Healthcare, Zuventus Healthcare, Ajanta Pharma, Mankind Pharma, and others.
By October 31, 2023, the company had 200 active product registrations, with 20 registrations awaiting renewal from international authorities. Furthermore, 218 new registration applications were in the process of being reviewed by international authorities.
