Established in 1994, Senco Gold Limited is a renowned jewelry retailer operating across India. The company operates under the brand name “Senco Gold & Diamonds” and offers a wide range of products.
Senco Gold specializes in gold and diamond jewelry, as well as jewelry made from silver, platinum, precious and semi-precious stones, and other metals. In addition to these, they also provide costume jewelry, gold and silver coins, and silver utensils.
With an extensive catalog boasting more than 108,000 gold jewelry designs and over 46,000 diamond jewelry designs, Senco Gold offers a diverse selection of handcrafted jewelry. Most of their designs are created in-house through collaboration with over 170 skilled local craftsmen in Kolkata and across India. The company currently employs a team of 20 designers as of March 31, 2023. They also manufacture machine-made lightweight jewelry in gold and diamonds and source jewelry from third-party vendors.
Senco Gold aims to cater to the younger generation and the upwardly mobile segment of India. They achieve this through their Everlite brand, which focuses on lightweight jewelry, their Gossip brand, which offers silver and fashion jewelry, and their Aham collection, designed specifically for men. For customers seeking heavier or premium designer jewelry or a more elevated shopping experience, the company has D’Signia Showrooms and Vivaha collection.
The company’s showrooms have different average ticket sizes. Standard showrooms have an average ticket size of approximately ₹48,000, D’Signia Showrooms have an average ticket size of ₹51,000, and Everlite Showrooms have an average ticket size of ₹29,000 for the fiscal year 2023.
Senco Gold operates over 136 showrooms, spanning a total area of approximately 409,882 sq. ft. This includes 70 company operated showrooms and 61 franchisee showrooms, located in 99 cities and towns across 13 states in India.
