SRM Contractors Limited, established in 2008, is a company that builds roads, tunnels, and other structures in the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
We work as both a main contractor and subcontractor for different types of construction projects.
Our main areas of focus include:
- Road projects: We plan and build new roads, bridges, and highways, as well as maintain existing ones in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
- Tunnel projects: We design and construct tunnels for various purposes, including avalanche and landslide protection, and we also upgrade and maintain existing tunnels in the region.
- Slope stabilization works: We create reinforced embankments to stabilize slopes in the area.
- Other civil construction activities: This includes building government housing, drainage systems, and irrigation/flood protection projects.
As of March 2024, we have completed 37 projects with a total contract value of Rs. 77,088.00 lakhs. These include 31 road construction projects, 3 tunnel projects, 1 slope stabilization project, and 2 miscellaneous construction works. We’ve managed 29 of these projects independently and worked on 8 projects through joint ventures.
As of January 31, 2024, we have 275 full-time employees, including specialists and workers.
