Tata Power Renewable Energy (TPREL) has joined forces with Nepalese firm Dugar Power to bolster Nepal’s renewable energy endeavors. This strategic collaboration marks TPREL’s entry into Nepal’s thriving renewable energy sector and paves the way for a substantial leap towards sustainable energy adoption in the country.

Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd (TPREL), a distinguished player in the renewables industry, has inked an agreement with Dugar Power Private Ltd (Dugar Power), a subsidiary of the renowned Dugar Group, a prominent business house in Nepal. Together, they are poised to introduce groundbreaking solar technologies, offering a wide array of on- and off-grid energy solutions, underlining their unwavering commitment to sustainable energy in the region.

The partnership has been meticulously crafted to cater to Nepal’s diverse energy needs, offering scalable solutions ranging from 1 KW to MW levels. Ashish Khanna, CEO of TPREL, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “This alliance with Dugar Power is a strategic endeavor aimed at reshaping Nepal’s energy landscape. As we enter Nepal’s promising renewable energy market, our goal is to bring about a transformative impact.”

This collaboration opens up new horizons for TPREL, enabling them to diversify their offerings in Nepal, encompassing the supply of cells and modules, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC), as well as Operations and Maintenance (O&M).
