In a recent announcement via an official exchange filing, Wipro, a leading IT powerhouse, shared that its Chief Financial Officer, Jatin Pravinchandra Dalal, has tendered his resignation, making headlines as Jatin Dalal resigns, the Wipro CFO. The company swiftly named Aparna C Iyer as his successor, with her assuming the role of Wipro CFO immediately.
Dalal’s journey with Wipro spans an impressive 21 years, and he took the reins as Wipro’s CFO in 2015. His official departure from the company is slated for November 30, 2023.
In a heartfelt resignation letter, Dalal expressed his gratitude to Wipro, stating, “I am deeply grateful to Wipro for the multitude of opportunities given to me over the last two decades. At this juncture of my career, I am eager to pursue my professional goals outside the organization.”
Dalal’s association with Wipro began in 2002 when he joined as the Manager of Treasury. Since then, he has undertaken various pivotal roles, including Manager and Head of Finance at Wividus, Senior Manager of Treasury and Investor Relations, CFO for Europe, Global Head of Finance, and finally, CFO of the IT Business.
Aparna Iyer, the newly appointed CFO, will report directly to CEO Thierry Delaporte and become a member of the prestigious Wipro Executive Board. Her journey with Wipro commenced in April 2003, and over her illustrious 20-year tenure, she has held diverse finance roles, ranging from Internal Audit and Business Finance to Finance Planning and Analysis, Corporate Treasury and Investor Relations. Most recently, she served as the Senior Vice-President and CFO of Wipro FullStride Cloud.
Thierry Delaporte, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Wipro Ltd., commended Aparna’s capabilities, saying, “Aparna is an accomplished, results-driven leader. Throughout her 20-year career with Wipro, she has been a dynamic, forward-thinking strategic partner to our business leaders.
