Dynacons Systems & Solutions Ltd has secured a prestigious contract valued at Rs. 106 Crores. The contract is for the provision of Supply, Installation, Commissioning and O&M of PKI Solutions, IT Infrastructure Components, and Connectivity Services for the e-PASSPORT PROJECT.
The ePassport project has been initiated by governments worldwide due to emerging standards, developing technologies, and security concerns. These passports are machine-readable and contain a chip that stores information which can be verified against data on the passport.
To ensure the security of the ePassport, it includes 41 security features. These features range from Embosse Bolographic image to Biometric information, iris scans, digital signature of the bearer, and demographic information. To issue and process a trusted ePassport, a passport-ecosystem is required, which consists of various components such as a method to secure the data on the chip, a credential management system to manage the issuing and renewal of ePassports, and more.
To achieve this objective, Dynacons Systems & Solutions Ltd is offering a centralized infrastructure that can meet current requirements and allow for future scalability and expansion.
