Founded in 1995, R R Kabel Limited is a company that specializes in providing electrical products for homes, businesses, industries, and infrastructure projects.

R R Kabel operates in two main areas:

1. Wires and Cables: This includes various types of wires and cables such as house wiring, industrial wiring, power cables, and specialized cables.
2. FMEG (Fans, Lighting, Switches, and Appliances): This segment includes products like fans, lighting fixtures, switches, and appliances.

The company manufactures, markets, and sells its wire and cable products under the ‘RR Kabel’ brand, and its fans and lights under the ‘Luminous Fans and Lights’ brand.

In 2020, R R Kabel expanded its business by acquiring Arraystorm Lighting Private Limited, which included the LED lights and related hardware business. This move allowed them to offer lighting solutions for office, industrial, and warehouse spaces. In 2022, the company acquired the home electrical business (HEB) of Luminous Power Technologies Private Limited. As part of this acquisition, they gained a limited and exclusive license to use the ‘Luminous Fans and Lights’ brand for fan and light products for up to four years, with the option to renew for an additional three months. This also included the rights to use 61 registered trademarks and a range of premium lights and fans, strengthening their FMEG portfolio.

R R Kabel operates manufacturing units in Waghodia, Gujarat, and Silvassa, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and Daman and Diu, primarily focused on wire and cable production and switch manufacturing. Additionally, they have three integrated manufacturing facilities located in Roorkee, Uttarakhand; Bengaluru, Karnataka; and Gagret, Himachal Pradesh, which handle the production of FMEG products.

R R Kabel serves customers both in the domestic and international markets. As of the last three months ending on June 30, 2023, 71% of their revenue came from the wires and cables segment, and 97% of their revenue came from the FMEG segment through the B2C channel.
